Practical Information

The IPB’s schools and laboratories are located on the campuses of Bordeaux 1 University (sciences and technologies) and Bordeaux 2 University (life and health sciences), between the cities of Bordeaux, Talence, Pessac and Gradignan.
They are at the heart of the Aquitaine region, 3 hours from Paris by TGV, 3 hours from the ski resorts and 45 minutes from the beach.
You can practice all kinds of boardsports as well as golf, mountain biking, rafting, hiking, hang-gliding…. and many other activities.
Bordeaux is one the largest student cities of France. The city is UNESCO World Heritage listed and offers a rich cultural life and all the attractions of a large city: concerts, cinemas, exhibitions and museums.
